Christopher K. Ross, DMD
Endodontist, Owner of Westford Endodontic Care
Dr. Ross was born in Lowell and raised in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. A graduate of Chelmsford High School, Dr. Ross attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, studying biology and gaining early acceptance to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1994. During his education, Dr. Ross was awarded Tufts’ Merit Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement three years running and was presented with the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Award.
Following his dental degree, Dr. Ross practiced general dentistry for five years and served as an assistant clinical instructor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Tufts University. He would go on to receive his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics from Tufts in 2001. Dr. Ross also presented his research on materials and techniques in endodontic microsurgery at the American Association of Endodontists annual session in New Orleans.
In 2001, Dr. Ross returned to Lowell to establish his endodontic practice, Extraordinary Endodontics. In May of 2020, Dr. Ross and the entire Extraordinary Endodontics team moved from Lowell to Westford, Massachusetts to establish Westford Endodontic Care.
Dr. Ross is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontists (since 1999), American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Merrimack Valley District Dental Society, and the Greater Lowell Dental Society (since 1994).
In his free time, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with his children, attending their sporting activities, spending time outdoors, and working on home improvement projects.
Mary, CDA, RDA
Treatment Coordinator
Mary completed a two-year program in dental assisting at Middlesex Community College and received the Academic Achievement Award for top academic performance. Mary continues to maintain certification with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) through annual continuing education. Mary is also licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with the state of Massachusetts.
Mary's favorite times are spent with her husband, three children, and two grandsons. She loves playing with her grandchildren, going on motorcycle road trips with her husband, cooking, and reading.
As Westford Endodontic Care’s Treatment Coordinator, Mary enjoys working with patients to ensure that their office experience is as simple and easy as possible. Known for being kind and compassionate, Mary makes every patient feel welcome and she will go above and beyond to ensure that your experience with us is a good one.
Joanne, CDA, RDA
Lead Dental Assistant
Joanne completed a two-year program in dental assisting at Middlesex Community College and received the Academic Achievement Award for top academic performance. Joanne is also licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with the state of Massachusetts.
In her free time, Joanne enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and three granddaughters. She also loves to exercise and bake!
As our Lead Dental Assistant, Joanne loves getting to know our patients. In addition to being exceptionally skilled in assisting diagnostics and procedures, Joanne is also an excellent listener, helping our patients feel comfortable and secure. She is warm, caring, empathetic, and truly dedicated to her job.
CPR & AED Heart Certified
The entire Westford Endodontic Care team is CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) Heart Certified.
Privacy, Health, & Safety Compliance
In order to ensure that our practice meets or exceeds all of the latest regulations in the industry, the Westford Endodontic Care office trains annually with Dental Compliance Solutions in OSHA, Infection Control, HIPAA, Biomedical Waste, Radiation Safety, WISP, and Red Flag compliance.
